Actually, we are pretty sure no one ever said that. However, in our case, we did.
We matched on a Saturday night, and started chatting on Sunday morning.

Danny was hiking with the kids, and Natalie can’t remember what she was doing other than being glued to her phone, deep in a text conversation.
These back and forth texts led to, wait for it... a phone call. Yes, no need to rub your eyes people, you read it correctly, a PHONE CALL.
Danny called Natalie, and in an instant, everything changed.
before There was US.
Danny was a freshly separated, single dad just looking to get back out there.
Natalie was a self-proclaimed Tinderella. She was openly determined to find the one, marry, and start a family.
Neither person could have anticipated the journey they were about to embark on both together and individually.

The first date:
Frozen pizza, roaring fire, wine, slow dancing in the living room...
and other stuff (Wink wink)
What has followed since their first date has been nothing short of the ride of their lives. A ride they are both so grateful to share with one another, their families, and loved ones.
Natalie felt that Danny’s history, an ex wife and two children, wasn’t baggage but instead, a perk. He provided a way to experience real life which is exactly what Natalie needed.
On this journey, Danny and Natalie have grown closer through challenges; both personally and together. It was never easy. It was never smooth. However, no matter what, they kept finding their way back to each other.
Among many things, Natalie gives Danny structure, balance, love, and support. In return, Danny gives her unconditional acceptance, security, emotional freedom and confidence.
We truly love each other for who the other person is, and not who we want the other to become.
